This Year's Trips (So Far)
To attend any club field trips you must be a club member.
Member Museum Collection _ Sat. Feb 24, 10am - 1pm
Ken & Betty Hoekstra have offered to host a field trip to their home in Hudsonville. Hopefully there will be much less snow by then. Their collection is spread throughout the house, and not just in the "basement." Hope to see you there!

Bus Trip _ Sat. Mar 16
Julia Sherwood has worked hard to put together another fabulous bus trip for us. The trip will include travel to Chicago for a visit to the Lizadro Lapidary Museum as well as the Fild Museum. This is a fantastic opportunity and not to be missed. To put a cherry on top, our board has agreed to cover half the cost of our bus rental as well as the full cost for any junior that want to attend. Watch for a sign up link in your email. The bus holds 40 people so act fast when that link comes.
Trip is full - Update!!! This trip was so popular that we decided to get a bigger bus. Contact us if you would like more details to join us on this trip.
Spring Break, NM _ Fri. Mar 29 - Sun. Apr 7
We will be heading back to New Mexico for spring break this year. We will be in the northwest corner this time. Some of the collection locations will include petrified wood, copper minerals, fluorite and obsidian nodules. We will be very close to Shiprock and within range of the Petrified Forest National Park. Home base for this trip will be Farmington, New Mexico. You will want accommodations nearby for Sunday night March 31 to Thursday April 4.

Ishpeming 47th Annual Show _ Sat. Aug 5, 9:30 - 4:30
Several members of our club have been known to attend this show. They have many of the same attractions we have at our show including silent auctions and a kids table. They also host a couple of field trips before and after the show. Check out the field trips before and after their show, as they are certainly worth the trip. See their website for details.
